WhatsApp automation on the official Business API

Reminders, receipts, order updates and campaigns — automated properly, without risking your number.

In India, WhatsApp is not a marketing channel — it is where business actually happens. Which is why most businesses run it manually, one message at a time, until the volume makes that impossible. We automate it on the official Business API: approved templates for payment reminders, receipts, order and delivery updates, appointment confirmations and renewals, sent from events in your existing systems. Campaigns respect consent and opt-out automatically, because getting that wrong does not degrade gracefully — it ends with the number restricted. And because automated messages generate replies, we put a grounded AI assistant on the inbound side. An automated reminder that provokes a question nobody answers is worse than no reminder.

The problem

What this solves

Manual WhatsApp works until it does not. Somebody remembers to send reminders, until they are on leave. Broadcast lists hit their limits. Unofficial automation tools promise scale and deliver a banned number — taking the customer list's trust with it. The rules are strict and unforgiving: templates need approval, messages outside the 24-hour service window must be templates, and opt-out must be honoured everywhere.
  • Manual sending that depends on memory

Reminders that stop the week someone is on leave.

  • Unofficial tools that get numbers banned

Cheap automation that costs you the whole channel.

  • Template rules misunderstood

Messages rejected, or sent outside permitted windows.

  • Opt-out handled by hand

A compliance problem waiting for the one time somebody forgets.

  • Replies nobody answers

Automated messages generating inbound volume with no one on it.

Our approach

How we go about it

Official API only. We treat the platform's rules as design constraints: template approval state modelled in the data, sending windows enforced in code, and consent recorded per contact so an opted-out number is unsendable by construction rather than by someone remembering to filter. Messages are triggered by events in the systems you already run — an invoice raised, an appointment booked, a renewal approaching — so nobody has to remember anything. Then the inbound side: a grounded assistant answers routine replies and escalates to a person with context for anything else.

Outcomes

What changes for you

  • Official Cloud API

The compliant route, so the business number stays in good standing.

  • Event-driven, not remembered

Your systems trigger the message the moment it is due.

  • Consent enforced in code

Opted-out contacts are unsendable by construction.

  • AI on the replies

A grounded assistant handles the inbound side, escalating when it should.

  • Delivery and read tracking

Per-contact status from verified webhooks, applied idempotently.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about whatsapp business automation.

Do we need a verified business account?
Yes — the official API requires a verified Meta Business account and an approved number. We handle the onboarding, which is mostly paperwork and patience.
Can it connect to our existing software?
That is the usual case. The automation reads events from your existing platform over an API — invoices, appointments, orders — and sends against them. Our own products use exactly this pattern internally.
What about message costs?
Meta charges per conversation, with the rate depending on category and country. We model the expected monthly cost before you commit, because an automation with a surprising bill gets switched off in month two.
Is bulk marketing allowed?
Marketing templates are permitted to opted-in contacts, within the rules and with opt-out honoured. What is not permitted is buying a list and broadcasting to it, and we will decline that work — it ends with a restricted number regardless of who built it.
