The challenge

An agent with broad access and no audit trail is an incident waiting to happen. The engineering problem is constraint: giving a model enough capability to be useful and few enough capabilities to be safe, while keeping a record specific enough to answer "why did it do that" afterwards. The organisational problem is trust. Nobody hands a workflow to automation they cannot inspect.

Our strategy

Tools, not access. Each agent is given a small, explicit set of operations — never a database connection — and every operation is authorised in the same policy layer a human user would pass through. Anything that moves money, sends externally or deletes requires an approval step. Every reasoning step and every action is persisted, so the trail reads like an audit log rather than a black box.

The solution

Agents that handle the long tail of routine coordination: triaging and routing inbound requests, extracting details from emails and documents into the right system, chasing missing information, preparing drafts for a person to approve, and reconciling records across two systems that disagree. Each one runs on a schedule or an event, reports what it did, and stops where a human decision belongs.
